Many community service activities were conducted to coincide with the commencement of official activities for the year 2019.

1. Deployment of 06 tractors in service from the money saved by not acquiring an official vehicle for the Lord Mayor
2. 05 tractors designated for auction were re-deployed after an overhaul with a minimal cost
3. Commencing the use of technical tools to make the waste collection process efficient (Introducing the CLEAN ME App)
4. Re-activating the thitherto defunct website of the Kaduwela Municipal Council
5. Granting free pairs of shoes to children of low-income families
6. Felicitation of the Kaduwela Municipal Council Netball Team, who won the Netball Tournament at the Colombo District Public Services Sports Fiesta 2009, and awarding Prizes
7. Providing the newly-purchased 54-seat bus for a one-day triangulation process to senior citizens.
8. Vesting to employees ownership the renovated Official Archives.
9. Handing over to Community Centres the cookware and equipment meant for shelters for persons displaced by floods.
10. Providing financial allocations to recipients of unfinished houses.
11. Awarding monthly scholarships to schoolchildren who have lost parents.
