The Kaduwela Municipal Council introduced a waste management software application (Clean-up Mobile App) for the first time in the history of local governance to optimize the collection of waste. At the same time, the new computerized weigh-bridge and the security surveillance camera system at the Waste Management Centre was inaugurated and the the new reading room of the Public Library at Battaramulla was declared open and vested to the ownership of people.
