Location of the Kaduwela City
The Kaduwela Municipal Council division belongs to the Colombo administrative District. It is boundaries are as follows:

The total population of this area in 2024 was recorded as 277,918 according to the 2024 enumeration phase of the Population and Housing Census conducted by the Department of Census and Statistics.
